Your sudo password is just the same password you normally use, but to
expunge the trash you can just right click on the trash can icon and
select Empty Trash.

Unable to expunge Trash
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
On Termnial I request Trash to be Expunged -I put in sudorm-rf etc. It
then ask for a password -- What is it ---OR how do I expunge 80
messages
