Thank you for your bug report, the bug tracker is not the right place to
list feature requests on a ticket like that, you might want to discuss
those on the list. Those options are also non-basic ones and could be
better done with other admin tools

Title:
Control center desperately needs more configration options
Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
Opinion
Bug description:
I am assisting the teachers of many Greek high schools to install
Ubuntu in the classrooms. The major complain i encounter is that some
of the most common configuration options must be done via the command
line. It would be extremely helpful if there was a way to change some
of these options through gnome-control-center.
Typical configuration options in a classroom environment:
1) Change grub boot options/set the default OS to boot
2) Change the options of the application launchers in Unity (for example
change tuxpaint to tuxpaint --fullscreen)
3) Change the entries of /etc/hosts (to add the static IP of the server for
the epoptes-client application)
4) Change the way users interact with the ntfs partitions (for example set
whether the users can access the windows partition or not)
