Similar behavior, intermittent lockups (mostly when chrome is doing

Usually requires hard reboot, sometimes will temporarily hang and return

Bug description:
  I have Hybrid graphics system Intel - AMD. HP Pavillion DV7 6090ef. Only the 
Intel GPU works in Ubuntu.
  I use a dual monitor setup.

  I had several consecutive crashes just after starting my system. The
  screens when blank for a few seconds without affecting the apps I was
  running. There was no need to reboot. This never happened before.
