Phone presents to OS as modem, NM shows as mobile broadband device. apport-collect is a non-option, as it will not operate behind a proxy (and why is THAT bug not getting poked with sharp sticks I'd love to know). If you'll tell me what actual info you need, I can upload the old-fashioned way.

Expected result: Connection re-establishes. Actual result: Same as Expected result, OR NM forgets that it has a saved password and repeatedly prompts for password. No input password will validate, connection eventually drops due to failed authentication. Subsequent reconnection attempts (manual and automatic) result in same behavior. Error persists through disconnection/reconnection (replug) of wireless device (Moto RAZR V3C in this case). Restart of NM (or reboot) required to establish new connection. Identical issue on second system, same arch/versions installed, but otherwise drastically different hardware aside from phone.
