I see lots of kworker cpu usage on 3.9rc7 today but my mouse isn't
slowing down. I can't run perf top to see why on that version due to the
following:

  I made a fresh install of Precise on a Lenovo X200 a couple weeks ago.
  When I start a new session after booting, the mouse is very slow and
  it feels like something might be taking up lots of resources on the
  system. After a few minutes, the problem goes away and the mouse works
  perfectly.
