Title:
Battery indicator doesn't show percentage
Status in “gnome-power-manager” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager
I have installed Ubuntu 10.04 (clean install, but with old /home directory),
and discovered the following bug:
Clicking battery icon in indicator-applet menu when laptop is running on its
battery shows only remaining work time but not remaining battery percentage.
But, if laptop is running on electrical network, battery percentage shows up.
Also, right after disconnecting laptop from electricity percentage is showing
up for some time, but soon disappears.
Percentage indicator in gkrellm works normally in both cases. Trying to set
up a clean user doesn't solve the problem.
