I am attaching inline the log section for a failed suspend try. In brief, when I try to suspend, the computer goes down and then immediately up.
A device (eth2?) seems to be failing to suspend. Not sure if this is related to some problems this model (Lenovo Y500) has with the wired connection not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ********* SMALL LOG *********** Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449871] alx 0000:02:00.0: PHY SPD/DPLX unresolved :ffff Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449873] alx 0000:02:00.0 eth2: shutown err(ffffffea) Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449874] alx 0000:02:00.0: shutdown fail in suspend -5 Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449887] pci_pm_suspend(): alx_suspend+0x0/0x90 [alx] returns -5 Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449890] dpm_run_callback(): pci_pm_suspend+0x0/0x140 returns -5 Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.449892] PM: Device 0000:02:00.0 failed to suspend async: error -5 Apr 25 09:55:15 GLenovo kernel: [ 4418.976403] PM: Some devices failed to suspend *********************************** ********** LONG LOG ************ GLenovo NetworkManager[1255]: <info> sleep requested (sleeping: no enabled: yes) Apr 25 09:55:11 GLenovo NetworkManager[1255]: <info> sleeping or disabling...
