Hmm well it is in CCSM, I know you mentioned that you don't want to use
this...but its how you change values for compiz.
Its under CCSM -> Grid -> Bindings and they are:
Put Left, and Put Right.

Bug description:
Ctrl+Super+Left/Right is unassignable in ubuntu 12.10 and 12.04.
(This may sound like a minor issue, but using a software like intellij
that relies alot on shortcuts you have to unassign alot of conflicting
ones in unity to use some combination of "Super" to make unity play
well with virtual desktops etc. )
Also i read that CCSM isnt supported, so id prefer not to use that to
make ubuntu desktop usable.
