can not see bookmarks in firefox

Bug description:
I have the latest version of Firefox with Ubuntu 12.04, I made a fresh
install of the Ubuntu, but can not restore any bookmarks that I had
earlier.
The 'Show All Bookmarks' is blank.
Please advise.
