But now its not possible , once one all softwares in queue are installed only then it would become responsive you can search new software... painful. CPU usage of software center are 50%-90% all this while ... all other applications are responsive at this time, its only software center who is unresponsive. please make it multi threaded if its already not. reduce the priorityy of installation thread and keeop the main UI thread's priority high, where your can browse for other softwares. I would suggest the best would be that you give an option to add software to basket/cart( isntallatino queue) and how his basket/cart i top right. give an option to start installation manually or when user exits software center, throw a dialog and ask user to install everything he selected.
