[Upstream] Show recent documents as open button dropdown menu

Bug description:
It would be useful to be able to access recent documents through a
dropdown menu on the Open Document toolbar button, like new document
types are available from the New Document button.

Gedit has this feature and it is quicker than the awkward 'S' you have
to traverse with the cursor when selecting File > Recent Documents >
  4. Example.odt. The Load Url combo box is too bulky.
