Freeze when starting up - screen won't turn on, fan runs.

Bug description:
After updating 13.04 today, shutting down, starting up, screen would
not light up. Pressed power a couple times, restarted, and after
waiting awhile the fan started going loudly. Plugging in and re-
starting again made it work.
