Hi there, Just wanted to add to this bug as I have just hit it too. Tried with multiple CD-Rs and same thing. Worked fine with 12.10, but since upgrading to 13.04 I have this issue.
I have installed and used xfburn to burn the audio CD I wanted no problem.
