Title:
gdm disregards /etc/gdm/custom.conf exclude user list
Status in “gdm” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Running on:
Description: Ubuntu 13.04
Release: 13.04-BETA2
(Ubuntu Gnome, 64-bit)
In /etc/gdm/custom.conf, I have the following config:
[greeter]
# Only include selected logins in the greeter
IncludeAll = false
which should remove the user list from the login screen.
Unfortuantely it doesn't work. Also adding a specific Exclude for
each user will not work.
The only fix right now is to have this file:
/etc/dconf/db/gdm.d/01-local-settings
###
# local system-wide customizations
[org/gnome/login-screen]
disable-user-list=true
###
then running dconf update.
