Title:
Gnome3 doesn't work on 64-bit Packard Bell EasyNote TN-65
Status in “jockey” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Gnome3 does not work on Ubuntu 64-bit 11.10 on Packard Bell EasyNote
TN-65. Logging into Gnome3 session works but the desktop is pixelated,
has strange and uneven color and it is impossible to read the labels.
In short: unusable.
The issue is that jockey installed the wrong graphic driver for ATI Mobility
Radeon HD 3430.
---
Unity 2D works well (see comment #10 for details).
----
Workaround: install manually "fglrx-updates" package.
