Something that nay be of interest: Rhythmbox will seek for exactly as
long as music was playing before pausing. Ex: If music is played for 10
minutes (over a few songs), then the music is paused and resumed,
Rhythmbox will quickly seek through 10 minutes of music.

  First pausing and then playing music in rhythmbox sometimes results in fast 
forwarding a song.
  It correctly plays song after pressing 'next' sometimes.
