Title:
  [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR* hangcheck timer elapsed…..GPU
  hung

Status in “xorg” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
it is impossible to install (live CD) ubuntu on my computer! x server
will not start. This is the error in terminal:

  ubuntu@ubuntu: [ 214.222246] [drm:i915_hangcheck_elapsed] *ERROR*
  hangcheck timer elapsed…..GPU hung [ 214.222308]
  [drm:i195_wait_request] *ERROR* i195_wait_request returns -11
  (awaiting 32 at 31, next 493)

I tried to remaster the CD, I tried using the DVD, the result is always the
same! I think it's a problem with my hardware! i have All in One Desktop PC (
Acer aspire z3751) with i3 processor and video card Intel GMA HD! All versions
of Ubuntu after maverick give the same problem! I tried other distributions and
functions (Fedora, openSUSE, Chakra).
For me as for other people without ADSL connection is important to install
the distribution graphically, the terminal can not connect and solve the
problem! Thank you, Thank you very much if anything to solve for 12.04
