Title:
failsafe X doesn't have an option to restart X with new configuration
Status in “xdiagnose” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
failsafeX doesn't have an option to restart X after editing the
configuration. Also it doesn't have an option to restart the system,
so the user is thrown back to the console.
Offtopic, but I guess obvious enough for someone who'd reply to this report:
It's clear that the Cancel option in the root menu is useless; I wonder how
difficult it would be to remove it (it's standard dialog?), but I can't even
figure out what application is it (and where is the source).
