Previously, due to a hard disk error, libnss3.so was missing - which caused nm-applet and empathy not to start. After a forced reinstall of libnss3 both started working again yesterday but tomorrow, after my system resumed from standby, I only got the message that empathy had crashed.
So, maybe a standby (suspend-to-ram) can trigger this bug as well? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/806773 Title: empathy crashed with SIGABRT in raise() Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Unplugged NetworkManager and crash.
