The same problem. Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS and a newly bought OfficeJet 8600 Pro. Using hp-setup printing and scanning is ok (the network is installed as a wired network printer). After some days I tried to have a duplex print, but I cannot do it using Libreoffice (no problem with PDF files)
