Romuald sent me the RAF file. I confirmed the crash is occuring inside of LibRaw, the library Shotwell relies upon for RAW file processing. I've change the affected project to LibRaw.
It looks like version 0.15 of LibRaw fixes this problem: http://www.libraw.org/news/libraw-0-15-0 That version was released about four days ago. Romauld, I recommend building and installing the latest LibRaw and see if that fixes your problem. ** Also affects: libraw Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: shotwell (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to shotwell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1183527 Title: Shotwell crashes with Fujifilm X-E1 RAF raw files Status in LibRaw: New Status in “shotwell” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Pretty all is in the title. And if you check the "automatically scan the file system to add photo", you're done. Shotwell always crashes and there is no way to make it work except by resetting the preferences.
