Hi,
Could any of you affected by this bug do the following:
1) Boot 12.10, e g from a live-CD if you don't have it installed any more,
confirm that the internal mic is working, then run alsa-info (
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Audio/AlsaInfo ).
2) Boot 13.04, confirm that the internal mic is no longer working, and run
alsa-info again.
I will compare the two alsa-infos and look for differences, and see if I
can figure something out. Thanks in advance!

Internal Microphone in Dell Inspiron 3420 a.k.a Dell Inspiron n4050 is not
working with Ubuntu 13.04 - Raring Ringtail, no matter what I do. When I use
the command line "alsamixer", the application doens't show the internal mic.
