Title:
stack smash crashes X when right click with apple magic trackpad
Status in “xserver-xorg-input-synaptics” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Hello,
Up to 13.04, i have used the Apple Magic Trackpad as my main pointing
device. After upgrading to 13.04 my Xorg server starts to crash at the
third/fourth/fifth (or so) time i try to perform a right-click (with
two fingers pressing down) and drops me to the login-screen.
After debugging Xorg using another computer, i came to the conclusion
that synaptics causes a stack-smash somwhere inside the function
HandleState (called by ReadInput). The stack smash was detected after
HandleState finished. I have attached the backtrace i have gathered
with gdb.
