Are you going to fix this? It started to occur even more frequently, like 80% of the time, and it's really, REALLY annoying!
BTW it happens when I switch the layout in reverse direction too, i.e. back to English. And it doesn't look like my PC's fault because everything is OK with the keyboard when I use Windows... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-evdev in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1090926 Title: Alt/Shift key not released after keyboard layout switch Status in “xserver-xorg-input-evdev” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Sometimes after I change keyboard layout with Alt+Shift the Alt key somehow is not recognized as being released which leads to very frustrating effects like losing all form-fill data in Firefox because you press the Home key while typing. The worst thing is that even after this the key still remains unreleased after multiple keypresses like if I'm holding it all the time! Same goes for the Shift key - it feels like you suddenly pressed Caps Lock but the LED indicator is not turned on. This happens in Ctrl+Shift mode as well.
