Thanks for updating the description. LibreOffice 4 no longer supports the old file-format. (see: https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/4.0#Feature_removal_.2F_deprecation).
Abiword opens, but the contents are not, what I wrote. It woult be to much work to correct.
