Public bug reported: I have the texlive-omega package installed (https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/raring/i386/texlive-omega) which I believe should include the omega and lambda executables
omega -- A wide-character-set extension of TeX. lambda -- LaTeX format based on the Omega engine. The executables do not appear to be installed. My end goal is to run makor (http://ctan.org/tex-archive/language/hebrew/makor) a Hebrew- language typesetting system that requires omega or lambda for the TeX and LaTeX varieties. LaTeX is otherwise fully installed and running fine. Thank you very much for your guidance.
