Title:
Menu operations cause LibreOffice to crash

Status in LibreOffice Productivity Suite:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu 12.10 32bit
  LibreOffice 1:4.0.3-0ubuntu1~quantal1

  What I expected to happen:

When clicking any menu, the contents thereof should be displayed with
the ability to subsequently click of the menu items displayed. For
example: Clicking "File" should open the file menu on which one can
  click "Open".

  What happened instead:

The menu shape is drawn with not visible content except for the
triangular indicators on menu items that branch into sub-menus. The
LibreOffice window is then made inactive, that is dulled as if a
dialog box is supposed to appear, but then the application crashes.
This is in both Writer & Calc. I have not checked the other programs
  in the suite.

  Further information:

In /var/log/syslog the following information is recorded:

  May 27 17:33:24 Matt-HP kernel: [264472.683928] soffice.bin[16068]:
segfault at 10 ip b1f57fa7 sp bff8a4c0 error 4 in
  libgio-2.0.so.0.3400.1[b1eb3000+15b000]
