nm-applet freezes

Bug description:
nm-applet sometimes freezes for an unknown reason. I've not yet
figured out a systematic way to recreate it - it's seems to be rather
random.
When it freezes I'm unable to ckick on any of the entries in its drop
down menu. Let's say I want to change wifi network: I click on the
indicator, find my other wifi abd click it - nothing.
Kill nm-applet and then start it again, try to change wifi as above -
works.
