zombee, the file you posted in https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1122509/comments/7 is already corrupt, so this would not do. As well, if I posted the picture https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1122509/comments/8 in a blank document, and saved it in docx, close, and reopen it does so successfully.
