I've been having this issue as well. I have the mouse sensitivity turned
all the way down and it is still way too fast. Its been this way since I
started using Ubuntu (12.04 - 13.04). Also, this is my first time using
Launchpad, so please excuse me if I'm doing something wrong.

  mouse is too sensitive

Bug description:
  In ubuntu, I go to the mouse settings and move the sliders for mouse
  sensitivity all the way to the left, but the sensitivity is still way
  too high. I can move the mouse less than a centimeter before the
  cursor will be on the other side of the screen.
