Title: Can't Reopen Contacts Window when Unity Active Status in “pidgin” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Under the current 12.04 beta, if you close the contact window in Pidgin (but have a chat window open), you cannot re-open the contact window. With other launchers (like Docky for instance) clicking the launcher icon would reopen the contacts window. Not so with Unity. Also since there is no indicator icon anymore, there is no way to get to the contacts list whatsoever without quitting Pidgin alltogether and relaunching it. None of the Pidgin menus that are visible in Unity when selecting an active chat window have an option to display the contact list either.
