Title:
Nautilus' file copy dialog cannot be opened again after closing
because it does not use the app indicator system

Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
In 12.10 and before, when you copy files in Nautilus, a window title
"File Operations" will open to show you the progress, and to offer a
button to stop the operation. You could close this window by clicking
on the X and an icon will pop up in the system tray notifying you that
the file copy operation is still ongoing. If you clicked on it, the
  "File Operations" window will reopen.

In 13.04, due to Ubuntu removing the system tray whitelist, once you
close the "File Operations" window, you can't open it again because
the icon no longer shows up in system tray as it probably doesn't use
the app indicator system. This means if you close the window, you can
no longer cancel the copy operation and have to wait for it to
  complete.
