A setting exists in 12.04 to disable the display of "Recent Apps" for
the Applications Lens: dconf-editor > desktop > unity > lenses >
applications > display-recent-apps
but there is no corresponding seting to disable the display of Recent
Files in the Files-Lens. There should be a setting in the files-lens to
disable the display of "Recent Files": dconf-editor > desktop > unity >
lenses > files > [display-recent-files]
When I hit Super+F, I'm always stuck with Recent files & folders
clogging up my dash. For this reason I always end up using the HOME
option instead. It would be nice to be able to use the Files Lens
without having to put up with the accumulation of Recent documents.
** Affects: unity (Ubuntu)
