We have a branch for this now thanks to Juhana Jauhiainen ! Unfortunately we are in UI freeze and this changes the menu structure (slightly) and adds a string so I would like to ask for a UI freeze exception for this.
** Summary changed: - Need a link to developer.ubuntu.com somewhere + [ui-freeze] Need a link to developer.ubuntu.com somewhere -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to software-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/722366 Title: [ui-freeze] Need a link to developer.ubuntu.com somewhere Status in “software-center” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: software-center User story: You are a software developer. Trying out Ubuntu Software Center, you think "How could I get my application in here?" Somehow, USC makes this obvious. So, as soon as <http://developer.ubuntu.com/myapps> exists, Ubuntu Software Center should link to it somewhere. Where exactly that link should go, I'm not sure yet. Maybe an unobtrusive place in the lobby screen, or maybe an item in the "Help" menu.
