Title:
Creative Live! Webcam microphone disabled after suspend/reboot
Status in “pulseaudio” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
Binary package hint: pulseaudio
I have a "Creative Technology, Ltd Live! Cam Socialize [VF0640]" (from
lsusb) and although the microphone works I must reselect it after
putting the computer to sleep or powering-on. It's the only microphone
in my configuration, my sound card has a mic but I selected "Analog
Stereo Output" for it in the sound preferences to disable it as the
system seemed to always default to that. When choosing
System->Preferences->Sound and then selecting the Input tab it appears
as the only option but the radio button is clear. To workaround the
problem I must open these settings every time and click the radio
button and it then works fine until the next sleep or power-on.
