Title:
getting out of some OpenGL games under Unity makes the computer

Bug description:
OK--I did a fresh install & set my desktop to use Unity---everything
looks OK & works well---except for when I tried to start up UT2004 I
ended up with a black screen...I test Gnome Shell regularly & this is
not happening--the "bug" in GS is that the upper bar will never go
  away....

Question is: Has anyone else seen this? I realise this is a corner-
case with OpenGL & Unity, but I play Unreal regularly & would hate to
do a logout/login to Gnome2 just to play.....
