Bug description:
Hello, this is my first Bug report ever. I don't know how and what to
write but I recognized a lot of similar bugs. Some are existing since
2006. This problem is really annoying and I couldn't find a real fix
without changing parameters I don't understand.
As described in the summary my touchpad has problems after fresh boot
for some minutes. Than it works for a longer time (1-2 hour) again and
then getting the same problem again. This repeats it self continuous.
The mouse moves jumpy and slow for some seconds (then moves normal
again) and the left Key is not responding for some minutes. After this
everything works fine again, for an hour.
I switched today from Windows Vista to Xubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. But I am
thinking about switching my laptop back to Windows if the touchpad
does not work, even everything else works great. The Laptop is a Sony
Vaio VGN-CS31S ( http://www.sony.co.uk/support/en/product/VGN-
CS31S_R/specifications ) with a Synaptics touchpad. Xubuntu is up to
date.
I attached the syslog. There you can find the moments where the problem
