Cannot enable restricted ATI driver

Bug description:
Binary package hint: jockey-gtk
I am unable to activate the ATI restricted driver in intrepid on a
Dell inspiron 1526. If I try do to so, some packages are downloaded
and installed. No error messages are shown. But afterwards, and even
after a reboot, the proprietary driver is still marked as "Not in
Use".
