The issue even occurs after a while of being connected. The connections will simply drop after 12+ hours, requiring me the "grant access" again by supplying the password.

The result is the constant appearance of a notification telling me I need to provide permission again. The "Grant Access" button needs to be pressed in the account settings and the password field is empty. The password field is empty again as soon as you return to the account settings, even right after providing the password and the account is logged in.
