I actually cannot see any html message as html. I'm speaking of messages whose body is something like
<table border=1 bgcolor="#FFFF99" cellpadding=6 cellspacing=0><tr><td> <font face=verdana><img src="/icone/check.gif"> text </td></tr></table><br> or <html> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="it"> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"> <meta name="keywords" content="keyword"> <meta name="verify-v1" content="k38+H2j4BeZw2vTWWfZ4XjQSnxjMxalea7W+DGaMrvM=" /> <title>title </title> </head> <body> Some text with <b>formatting</b>. </body> -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/381066 Title: Add option to display HTML mail in evolution Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool: New Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: evolution When selecting the option "Only ever show PLAIN" under Evolution Preferences > Mail Preferences > HTML Messages > HTML Mode, it is impossible to have evolution show the HTML content of an e-mail. It would be nice to have the option of clicking a button (a la KMail) to display HTML content, even if Evolution has been instructed to never show HTML content. Alternatively, an additional option in the aforementioned option something along the lines of "Show PLAIN by default".
