Title:
default colors provide bad contrast to default background

Status in GNOME Terminal:
  New
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
The default colors of gnome-terminal are not optimally readable on a
white background. They should be more saturated.

The original submitter especially did not like the "light blue" color,
which should be darker in his opinion.
