Notification bubble repeat several times, and start to "lag behind"
when skipping songs

Bug description:
Every time a new song comes on, the rhythmbox notification pops up 3-4
times . Sometimes with album art, sometimes without album art, and
sometimes with the wrong album art (that might be a separate bug).
Each one of the notifications stays on for the normal time (10s?).
When skipping songs, the notifications aren't cleared, so when I skip
several songs in a row, I get to watch a backlog of notifications pop
up and disappear for several minutes.
