Title:
Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in RRCrtcDetachScanoutPixmap()
Status in “xorg-server” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
For me, this bug happened after I upgraded from 12.04. For quite some time, I
wasn't even able to boot at all. That was fixed after I disabled secure boot in
the BIOS (and UEFI boot), and enabled legacy mode.
More importantly, I was only finally able to open a graphic session only
after deactivating a proprietary driver kmod:fglrx_updates.
