When I try, I see an error dialog like so: Error saving the document mydocument: Nonexistant file When I click [OK] on that, I get another error dialog like so: Error saving the document mydocument: General Error. General input/output error. This worked for me in Ubuntu Quantal and earlier versions. WORKAROUND: Save to a local folder and manually copy the PDF over to the sftp folder.
