Title: "When lid is close" appears on system with no lid Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Committed Bug description: Controls related to action to perform when lid is closed (see bug 792636) are showed on my desktop machine too, where no lid is present. Probably a check for "lid-is-present" property from upower is missing.
