Title:
[Precision M4600, IDT 92HD90BXX, Mic, Top] No autoswitch
Status in “alsa-driver” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
I found this in skype. If I use pavucontrol and I go to the input
streams, I see that I can actually capture audio for about a second
because the bar is moving on the "Microphone" device. After a second
or two it freezes. However I could be recording forever with Audacity.
But I don't know if they both use the same sound system or Audacity
has its own. Note that I didn't open Audacity at the same time than
Skype. I was just curious about whether it was a skype-only issue and
I went to test in Audacity.
