Failing unity8 tests since evening Aug 14th

Bug description:
The following autopilot tests have started failing after the last
release (bzr 201, three commits currently after that):
unity8.shell.tests.test_lock_screen.TestLockscreen.test_can_unlock_pin_screen(Desktop
Nexus 10/Desktop Nexus 4) (on ati/intel machine)
unity8.shell.tests.test_hud.TestHud.test_hide_hud_click(Desktop Nexus 4) (on
nvidia machine)
The test_hide_hud_click has failed repeatedly during the three last
runs, so it seems quite clearly broken.
The test_can_unlock_pin_screen seems flaky, having failed twice on ati
machine and once on intel, but not on both during the same run.
However before yesterday evening there were 5+ releases without such
flakiness.
