Title:
Ubuntu 10.04 tabs charactes disappeared when copy/paste to terminal

Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  1. open gedit.
  2. check if "Insert spaces instead of tabs" unchecked
  3. type: ls<TAB>-all
note: no space chars, just tab.
  4. select line, copy to buffer.
  5. open terminal, paste from buffer, you will get ls-all
     while ls<space|Tab>-all is expected.

This is really borrowing, when deal with source code...
