Slight issue... while I still own a non-USB keyboard (PS/2) my PC no longer has a PS/2 socket.

The only way I can continue using my computer is shutting the whole thing down and restarting it. To date this has only happened while browsing the internet (although not the same sites). Any help would be greatly appreciated. If more information is needed don't hesitate to ask, but please add detailed how tos as I'm not a computer guru, in any sense of the word.
