Title: g-c-c User Accounts should be built with webcam support Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Ubuntu 11.10 allows users to set their picture using the webcam during installation, but after installation it's much more cumbersome to set the userpicture with the webcam. gnome-control-center does support using the webcam directly but not in Ubuntu. http://library.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/stable/user- changepicture.html.en This might require cheese to be a build-dependency (and thus, in main). Or maybe gnome-control-center could be patched so that it could just use the same library that ubiquity uses without needing to have cheese available.
